USB2 speeds
The cable that is supplied with these units is the one needed for USB2.0 transfers. There is no documentation for this and I found it out by accident. It seems obvious now but a pointer in the right direction would have been nice!

Good gear at good prices
I got two of these and they are both sweet on the PS3. Picked up as USB2 no probs, however Windows XP is a different matter. As yet they are still only detected as USB1 devices, which is a nightmare considering the transfer speed difference between 1&2!
Oooh btw, the Samsung 500GB HM500LI works perfectly in this unit, but that isn't what I bought them for!
