I have a 12.5" laptop, with no internal burner/reader. I also have a lot of backup data stored on cds and dvds.
Having this unit is great. It does not require an external power supply which means less wires (always a good thing)
Good price and worked straight out of the box whats not to like.
Get one and keep it handy. As data is going away from dvd cd format, having one of these could be a lifesaver when trying to find your older archived information.
