The SuperTalent SATA3 Mini 2 PCIe DX1 SSD is an upgrade module specifically designed to be a drop in replacement for the ASUS Eee PC S101,900, 900A, and 901 netbook PCs. The modules are simple and easy to install for immediate capacity and performance benefits.
These modules are the fastest SATA Mini PCIe SSDs available in the market today. Delivering over 5x the performance of the original Eee PC SSDs. These products also make excellent high performance small form factor products for embedded system designers.
The 32GB MLC based product features sequential read speeds up to 500MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 280MB/s. The MLC drives come with Super Talent’s 2 year warranty.
Important note about BIOS versions
In order for this product to work, the following BIOS versions (or later) must be installed on the ASUS EEE netbook:
ASUS Eee PC 900: BIOS version 0906
ASUS Eee PC 900A: BIOS version 0703
ASUS Eee PC 901: BIOS version 1808
ASUS Eee PC 901 GO: Any BIOS version
ASUS Eee PC S101: Any BIOS version

eee901: Runs much faster than original Phison, no problems when mounting it. Internal 4GB won't be recognized anymore and a message of failure is shown on startup. To fix this message, you have to add a primary partition of something about 200mB of type EFI (0xef) onto the SuperTalent. When eee is booted for the second time, the message won't be shown again. Preferring Slackware-Linux, i added "echo 10 > /proc/sys/vm/swappiness" to /etc/rc.d/rc.local to reduce swapping, but swapping is not really an issue.
Shipping happened very quickly, 5 days after ordering, it arrived at my house in germany.

I'm been looking for an upgrade to my EEEPC 900 for years. and take a risk with it based on user comments and forums related. it worked perfec. the only concern is that with the ssd installed the 4gb onboard ssd dont work anymore (it make sense). the new ssd is fast. i prove it with windows 10 at the begining and it was a great surprice how fast this os runs on such an old PC thanks to the SSD.
