Although Transcend JetDrive 520 is designed as a replacement, an aluminum case is included for housing the old or full SSD. The aluminum case works like an external hard drive, allowing users to access files via USB3.0 connection. It includes a USB cable, carrying pouch, and heat protecting/noise canceling rubber base. Likewise, the internal Transcend JetDrive 520 includes JetDrive Toolbox software for monitoring SSD functions essential to maintaining optimum performance.
