This battery purchased as a replacement for the original one and works fine so far.

Having calibrated as per instructions I seem to be averaging between 4 and 5 hours per charge, which is, from memory, pretty much what a I got out of original for 10 years! Time will tell, but pleased thus far.

The battery came with the tools to install it and a link to a video which explained clearly how to install it. It was quite straightforward. After calibration of the new battery I am getting over 5 hours of battery life. This is obviously dependent on how many tabs I have open or what browser I am using. But overall very happy to date. However, it is probably much too soon to be asked to give a review (2 weeks since installation) and in my opinion it would be more useful to see a review after a years use to see how the charge holds up then.

Purchased this to replace the battery in my macbook pro and everthing seems to be good. I changed it myself which isn't too difficult if you follow the instructions on macsales web page. The one important thing that has to be done is to fully charge it for 12 hours and discharge it fully to properly calibrate the battery, they recommend too do this 2 or 3 times to get an accurate calibration for the battery. This battery gets great reviews and is supposed to be as good as the original battery so time will tell, my original battery lasted nearly 4 years and 790 charge cycles, so if this one lasts as long i'll be very impressed. Overall seems to do what it says on the tin and the service was excellent. Very impressed...
