All-in-One Flash memory card reader, supporting the majority of Flash cards and also has a separate slot for reading SIM cards from mobile phones*. Ideal for managing contacts and transferring data to and from any Flash card.

Smart card reader issue

I had an issue with a Delkin smart card reader/Writer which was unable to read a lot of the smart media cards I had. As these are madly expensive I didnt want to just throw them out. This reader/Writer recommended by Jakob worked a treat and has save me a bundle of cash for a very small outlay.

Rather slow!

When it writes at 5MB/s, the MobileMateSD manages 11MB/s ( with a sandisk ultraII sd card)

This is good if you are interested in the sim reader (and run windows).

SIM card reader doesn't work with Linux

In the product description there's _only_ written: "SIM card reader not compatible with Apple Mac Systems". I've tried to make it work under Ubuntu Hardy, but no result. The SIM card reader only works with the included software (for Windows, but I don't use it). After some searches on the Web, I should have found the answer: this SIM reader seems not to be compatible with PC/SC standard
