Expensive but great monitor
September 13th 2025 Verified user
I got this about a year ago and it was one of the best - and quite expensive - purchases I've made.

For work this is great - it's like having three screens side by side which is a huge benefit. The text is clear, everything looks sharp and the performance is great although it's a very big monitor physically - quite lite considering the size - you do have to have the room for it.

The model I got came with a remote and the Samsung media hub. This costs quite a bit more than the base version without the remote and media hub but it's well worth it if you have multiple devices to connect to the monitor(Computer, work laptop, consoles, etc.). There's also wifi or bluetooth support so you can share your phone to the screen and plenty of features I've not used myself. Would have been nice for an extra HDMI or display port beyond only having one of each but I'm sure you could pick up a switch hub somewhere to add multiple devices connected beyond the HDMI and Display port options. The remote and media hub really makes switching between devices and changing settings so much more convenient and much better in general.

For gaming, as my first 32:9 monitor, this is a game changer. Old games look and feel newer, RTS games have a lot more to view, FPS offers you far more vision than you would normally which is more immersive and ARPGs give you that extra distance to see beyond your standard 16:9 ratio. It really is a game changer and the slight curve adds to this.

The remote and hub is well worth paying extra for in my opinion despite what a lot of reviewers say. If you weren't connecting multiple devices or work laptops, consoles, etc. to the monitor there would be little need for it but if you are it makes it that much better and that much easier to navigate and switch through settings.

My only negatives to mention is the included Display Port cable that comes in the box, in my case at least, wasn't the best and feels like the cable is on it's way out (slight movement and there's static on the image). The cable is also quite short but this seems to be standard with any cables, you get a few feet of length but not much else.

Other than this when it comes to watching movies the image quality is great but you're not going to be able to use that 32:9 aspect ratio, movies will default to 16:9 which is half the screen being used and a much smaller image as the monitor at 16:9 is basically a 24" monitor when not stretched out. As it's OLED the parts not being used are completely black(I think the pixels are actually turned off) so it's not too distracting but you will be viewing a 16:9 movie on a 32:9 monitor as that's how it was filmed. You can stretch it but it won't look great.

Great monitor - I just wouldn't get this if watching movies was your primary concern which it really shouldn't be. Work and gaming this is a 10 out of 10.
