Pretty good but...

Honestly I was very excited to try out this product. The size is awesome and the r/w speeds are pretty good for the price.

Crystal Disk Mark output:
Sequential Read:17.87 MB/s
Sequential Write:4.91 MB/s

The microSD card reader is very convenient. However, it did bring up errors after 3 days of use and I lost a few files. Fixed the errors and performed a low level format and this seemed to fix it but it does classify it as unreliable in my book, especially for important files.

At the same price recently I discovered a Kingston Data Traveller micro USB which is a little bit bigger in size but offers 16GB and faster r/w speeds which is what I am currently using.

Crystal Disk Mark output:
Sequential Read:17.39 MB/s
Sequential Write:15.88 MB/s

Overall, and especially by comparison, I would say pretty good value for money, nice gadget to mess about with but I wouldn't trust it as primary storage for important files on-the-go. In fact if I had discovered the Kingston first I probably wouldn't have bought this.

Small USB Storage units

Using a DELL 1011 netbook computer as my portable Office, I wanted a compact portable USB storage device for my back-up.

The Nano 8gig filled the application with the added bonus of having a microSD slot for further expansion

Checking the spec confirmed the suitability; Ordering was straightforward; delivery was prompt, well packaged; only minor gripe was the addition of both VAT & postage (which I do understand) made a very good bargain not quite so favourable.

The USB units are good, so perhaps one has to make certain sacrifices on the bottom line bargains

Would I recommend the units and supplier to others, Yes just check the final bottom line
