When my laptop died, I needed some way of accessing the HDD and recovering some files. This provided the perfect answer. Very quick and easy to assemble (they even provide the screwdriver). I now have a very useful portable HDD for a very reasonable price. The velvety protective carrying case is attractive and prevents sharp edges from damaging pockets. Recommended.
