I am not using it too often but it is working for the last 2 years so I can recommend it.
Unfortunately, the backup button is too close to the cable which makes it difficult to press.
It has a micro USB 3 (the wide one). Very bright LED that is visible both from the top and the (cable) side.

I bought this as a safety cover for a hard drive (Toshiba MK6459GSXP) I took out from my old laptop. The drive fit well in to the case. It was pretty easy to install. I can view and use files just fine on it, no problems there. Transfer rate is usually around 75 MB/s and can dip down to 20 MB/s for a couple of seconds. Only issue I have with it is the glowing blue light when it's connected, but I'll just tape over it or something.

So easy to put hdd or ssd into the enclosure, only takes a minute. You then have an external ssd or external hdd.
