fast speeds but once it warms up it starts to slow down so I'm guessing there is a thermal throttling situation to this compared to some of the other metal/heatsink versions

Great storage enclosure, fast Gen3.2 speed. The RGB colour animation is a pleasant addition, but it does exactly what I wanted at a great price.

Nice enclosure for the price. Not sure on the thermal pad provided as it doesn't have a heat sink with the casing, but working great!
