NEON 3.5-inch Aluminium Smart Hard Drive Enclosure for SATA/IDE drives by NEON

Bought several of these from MemoryC and they are all great. The power unit went down on one of them but the issue was quickly resolved by the friendly staff at MemoryC

Even though this unit is great, I had to give it a 3 star.
This comes with no instruction manual and only email tech help. Went to install my drive on the weekend and no help from them to do it. So I worked through the many cables to try and understand which were going to connect my drive to this and which were going to be extra. Crossed my fingers. Kind of like finding the square block to put in the square hole. It doesn't tell you how to take the cover end off either to start the installation. Had to draw straws if I would remove the 2 phillips head screws or the allen screws adjacent to them to get the cover off. Pheewww!...I picked the phillips heads and the cover came off. Then I found the lead that were going to connect and after connecting them went to plug the transformer into my wall socket and found the sent me a UK plug end. So off to Radio Shack for the adapter needed to plug into my USA socket. Because I doubted that this was going to work, after connecting my drive to the case, I let it rest on top of the cover chassis without closing it up. Connected usb to my computer and to the chassis, the transformer to the chassis and them to my wall socket via the uk to usa adapter. Computer to on...switched chassis to on. And viola! "it plugged and played". Thought are...it could have been easier.
