It's bigger than you think is required for an M.2 case but that's a good thing because a 500GB or 1TB drive runs pretty hot and the whole unit acts as a heat sink. Been using for several weeks. and I like it!

Get the job done, but runs really hot.

Used this to image a SSD drive. Runs incredibly hot once drive is in use. I would not recommend keeping the drive in the enclosure, but gets the job done and a low price.
